Our first assignment in Typography is to create a character based off of our intials. The focus is not really on the final character but on the process used to reach it. Some of the designs need to be informal and some formal… we can play with angling the intials, use reverse ground and other changes along those lines. The final solution will display the process and final character in an accordian fold booklet. One image shows my sketches to come up with intial designs. The other, a few designs I have completed in Adobe Illustrator… there will be alot more of these before I am finished.
