I heard about the Healing Field out at Goodyear Park yesterday on the radio and thought it would be good to pull out the ole (well maybe not so old) camera.

“As part of Akron’s commemoration of the fifth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, the All-American Soap Box Derby is creating the Patriot’s Healing Field Flag Memorial. The field of flags will be displayed in Akron’s Goodyear Heights Metropolitan Park September 8-11.”
