Thanks for the comment. I looked up Robert Indiana and his work is quite interesting; very much along the lines of this assignment. Mostly we have been studying a book by Willi Kunz (examples at http://collections.sfmoma.org/THA100592*1$91038*4913336) so far this semester. I don't think I will be doing alot more projects exactly like this one. It is interesting, but I don't feel that passionate about it. However, the concepts I learned here will definitely carry on into other projects I work on. This typography is definitely changing the way I approach design. Hi Chard! Thanks for the comment. I am still pretty illiterate with web stuff. I still do not have my own computer. Grrrr. The negative spaces in your project have alot of power in them. If I could not read I would probably see the negative spaces as positive spaces. I know how school is. There is a lot of experimentation with a focus on work ethic. I dig the Willi Kunz stuff. Nice direction in the graphics towards the info communicated. My friend John is really good with creative type. It will include large scale paintings with humidifiers shooting out mist from behind them. (Among other things, like a performance) I will send you an invite.
