I just installed ActiveCollab for use with freelance graphic and web design work. It is a great project management tool. For those of you who are familiar with Basecamp by 37Signals, ActiveCollab is an open source version that can be run on your own server. The installation was simple, but it does require PHP5 and MySQL with Innodb support. Eli Foner has a great write-up on the the benefits of it. He even provides a installation guide.
