In the style of Willi Kunz, I tried to incorporate repetition and harmony. Building upon Coop Himmelb(l)au’s architectural structure I enchanced the vertical grid pattern. This is the last major variation before the final design for the new Akron Art Musuem poster series.
Nearing the end of the semester, I am posting the last few designs for Typogography I. The focus is to create a poster for the new Akron Art Museum while following specific criteria. This poster required a black and white image and partial field reversal.
Yet another poster for the new Akron Art Museum. I know some won’t like this design, but I wanted to push the envelope with some diagonal text and block highlighting. I know the text shade is close to the block background shade, but that is a purposeful choice. A sense of space is given by the drastic diagonals in the background.

These are some variations on an logo for freelance web design work. I used a highly saturated pallete and small gradients hoping to create an energetic look. I am not convinced on the electrical elements. I may try a version simply with the 7 sided star in the center and no effects on it.
By the way, if you happen to check this… Happy Birthday Mom! I hope you have a great evening out with Sarah and Dad and a great Thanksgiving tomorrow.
